ABOUT ISABEL KIDD
Since I was a child, I’ve doodled characters countless times. I have always painted and danced. For me, art is the most open place for expression. It has always been there, and I want to share this constant, grounding companion of mine with the world. It allows me to express with fluidity whilst maintaining a sense of stability.

My work ranges from colourful pallet knife paintings and adorable doodles, to dance and movement. Dance is a medium that has been with me my whole life, and it feels natural to explore the intersection of art and performance in this way. Inspired by nature, I explore movement that flows like water, understanding that dance is not limited to traditional steps, but movement that is evident in everyday life.
By embracing fluidity in my work, I enjoy facilitating creative workshops with a variety of groups, helping people to connect to their authentic method of creating without fear of it being ‘perfect’ or complete. My workshops are always open and relaxed, letting conversation be the key to unlocking connection between participants and their artwork.
